I'm Sanny Bakker, a mixed media artist who recently transplanted from Rotterdam, my creative roots, to an earthy embrace of an ecovillage in Boekel. My hands are usually busy with mud, paperclay, pigments, and carving tools (and sometimes fending off curious cats from wet art!). I create pieces that playfully explore our bond with nature and find beauty in the discarded. My recycled art is a vibrant, self-taught shout-out for a more balanced world. Now, I'm happily rooted in both my sustainable new home and the beloved art scenes of Rotterdam and Schiedam – a true artistic dual citizen!
